*KETO DIET POST* • • If you watch my IG stories you know that I have been on a #KetoDiet journey the past few months. I’ve been promising you a keto post forevaaaa so here we are 😜 • • I’m currently 6 months postpartum. I gained FIFTY-FIVE pounds (!!!!) while pregnant. I lost 30lbs the first two weeks after birth (big baby plus lots of fluid), and over the last 3 months have lost an additional 30lbs on Keto. This was no snap back. It’s been LONG and tedious and I’m still a work in progress. I’m now at my pre-baby weight but my goal is my 3-years-ago weight (lol) so I am looking to loose another 25lbs over the next 4 months. • • I absolutely LOVE Keto. It’s something I plan to follow as a lifestyle not just a quick diet. I have never felt more mentally clear, energized and healthy. Also, once you get an understanding of your “macros” down it is EASY and especially convenient for those who are busy or travel a lot. The majority of the last 3 months I have now been working out, though I have started regular sessions of Pilates in the last 2 weeks. I get A LOT of DM’s about how to begin so if you swipe right you will see the ONLY 2 keto books I recommend. I have done a ton of research and read at least 6 books on it plus countless websites and articles. This “KETO” book is the one I feel follows the healthiest plan as well as provides easy to understand science and modifications based on health & goals. “Simply Keto” is great for inspiration and easy recipes. Please please please do your research. The app I use to track macros is “Carb Manager” and I have put some of my favorite products together for you in an amazon list (click link to bio to view). He’s such a happy and alert baby. Definitely been here before. I become more in love with him each day 😍. I’ve been doing #Keto for 4 weeks now and absolutely LOVE it (I post about that on my stories daily). 15 lbs down so far and quite a ways to go still. I’m gearing up to launch 2 podcasts (I’ve been running from it for 4 years but it’s time) and I just started the first phases of writing my second book. Stay tuned. Becoming a mom & getting adjusted to the new flow of life has been a huge learning curve but I am absolutely loving and in awe of this new journey I am on. Grateful! ❤️❤️
